Highlighting veterans who found opportunity and purpose in energy careers
The energy transition is driving workforce growth. Engineering Career Acceleration Program
This rotational development program provides an opportunity to participate in the energy transition, engaging with our technology and customers. You’ll have the opportunity to move across 3 rotational assignments in Raleigh, NC, Richland, MS, and sites across the US.
ECAP is an 18-month rotational development program for early career engineers focused on the transmission industry. This program offers three tracks: Generalist, Manufacturing and Control & Protection. The generalist track offers the widest exposure to the transmission industry inclusive of our innovative products, solutions and services. The manufacturing and control & protection tracks are specialist opportunities, with defined rotations. All tracks will rotate through Raleigh, NC, Richland, MS and sites across the US, as applicable. Program participants will also participate in four Formal Learnings, with exposure to our internal industry experts, to further their competence and confidence.
ECAP provides an opportunity to participate in the energy transition as part of our Grid Technologies business. This hands-on experience program allows for engaging with our technology and customers. As the program continues to evolve, we look forward to adding more opportunities through our new transformer factory, which is being built in Charlotte, NC.

We’re looking for individuals with these characteristics:
- A genuine interest in the electric grid and its ongoing transition
- Curious, self-driven learners, who enjoy finding and using all available resources to build innovative solutions to challenging issues
- A desire to understand the energy business inclusive of engineering, business development, project management, and field service disciplines
- A degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or power systems engineering, inclusive of structural or construction management or tightly related degree
- Open to domestic travel throughout the program, relocation through rotations and completion of the program.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Sales and Marketing Development Program
A domestic rotational program designed to kickstart your career within Siemens Energy within the sales and/or marketing organizations.
Throughout the 14-month Sales & Marketing Development Program, you will experience four different rotations within Siemens Energy’s sales & marketing organizations. You will learn about the generation, transportation, applications & storage of electricity, as well as the various industrial processes we provide solutions for. Siemens Energy will provide you with hands-on coaching and more than seven weeks of training, enabling you to develop technical and commercial competencies in the sales & marketing fields, while establishing a comprehensive business network across our company, from professional to executive.
You may start with Siemens Energy thinking you have an average understanding of the energy industry but will quickly discover a complexity that propels you on a lifelong investment into one of the most fascinating global industries. FEA is a 2 year rotational program, comprised of four, 6-month rotations. Program participants will learn about diverse finance disciplines, including accounting, service operations finance, manufacturing finance, commercial project management, sales, and business controlling.

Early Career Field Service Engineer Training Program

Join our one-year training program to become a Field Service Engineer including classroom and on-the-job training. This is a global program offered in Canada, Turkey, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and has specialized opportunities in the following areas: Project Management Services, Field Technology Services, Turbine Services, Generator Services, and Plant Auxiliary Services.

Summer Intern Program
The 2025 Summer Internship Program is open to students who are presently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States. The purpose of the program is to provide students with relevant work experience and exposure to the Energy Industry.
The Siemens Energy Internship Program has roles across all areas of our business. It is a ten week program that kicks off in June and ends in August. The program provides students with an opportunity to work on projects relevant to their field of study. In addition to project work, we host an executive speaker series, learning and development opportunities, networking events with other intern groups, and visits to the Siemens Energy Innovation Center and Wind Training Facility.

EDP
EDP aims to develop new engineers to keep up with technological advancements and ensure long-term success, leadership, and adaptability for our business. The EDP program combines classroom learning with engineering and manufacturing work assignments.
EDP is a one year program, comprised of 3 rotations. Participants will potentially work in Manufacturing, Repairs, R&D, Field Service, Engineering, or Product Support; and will gain hands on exposure to real business challenges, along with ongoing learning and development opportunities.
