Thabo Molekoa is mechanical engineer, with a MBA and has more than 22 years‘ experience - from a technical, industrial projects and maintenance background to directing organisations on growth strategies in over 40 African countries.

His work experience covers organisations such as thyssenkrupp, DuPont, Saint-Gobain & De Beers.

In 2020, Thabo was appointed MD of Siemens Energy – Southern & Eastern Africa.

Thabo serves on several boards in South Africa, notably in the renewable energy sector. He also served on the board of the EU-SA Business Chamber and was the local ambassador for the Africa CEO Network.

He is passionate about the advancement of Africa’s industrialisation agenda and its youth skills development.

Fabian Bergeron is Senior Sales Expert for Decarbonized Energy Systems at Siemens Energy.

He has a background in energy, automotive and aerospace sectors and has been leading research & development and sales activities of conventional and decarbonized energy solutions with positions in Germany, Taipei and Shanghai. Fabian grew up in Germany, South Korea and Singapore, and holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Universität Stuttgart (DE) as well as a degree in Thermal Power from Cranfield University (UK).

Stanley Dorasamy is Technical Director with a background in the Industrial Verticals. He brings his skills in energy, power plants, electrification and automation and sales management.  His expertise is strongly in the area of development of decarbonization concepts for the Industrial Sector. Stanley has worked in North America, Scandinavia, Africa, Western Europe and Asia in various Management and Technical Capacities over the past 32 years. Stanely Dorasamy holds a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology, in Finland and an Executive MBA from the University of Maastricht, in the Netherlands.

Senior Key Expert, Decarbonized Energy Systems  |  Siemens Energy

Thorsten Krol is Senior Key Expert for the integration of renewables into reliable and stable large and de-centralized grid environments. In this role he develops with the customers new solutions on their de-carbonization roadmap developing hybrid solutions fit for purpose. Thorsten holds a PhD in Physics and has been with Siemens Energy for 16 years, supporting the global energy business in various functions from operating services engineering and marketing assignments towards his current role as Senior Key Expert in Sales.
