This white paper is the result of a collaboration between Siemens Energy and PrimeKey.
In this paper, we will elaborate on the secure implementation of an IoT solution in an IIoT electric utilities environment, specifically transmission. Secure technologies, such as public key infrastructure (PKI), mutual authentication, secure certificate imprinting, product components designed for industrial use such as PrimeKey IdAM and firmware signing enabling secure implementation of IoT/ IIoT solutions will be discussed. This approach allows us to ensure that Sensproducts are built in compliance with regulatory requirements.
