SeaFloat - an evolution from land to sea

The Siemens Energy SeaFloat power plants use the company’s proven and reliable equipment optimized for application on floating devices. The efficient power plants are hydrogen ready and can be equipped with batteries for grid stabilization. SeaFloat can be constructed in a safe & reliable environment of a shipyard and connected to any desired location in Latin America. It is designed in
a plug & play concept for permanent operation but with the option for global relocation. Existing aged land based on floating assets
in the region can be easily replaced to reduce significantly carbon emissions, while the existing plant can continue operation during offsite SeaFloat construction. This technology combines state-of-the-art combined cycle power plant technology with the mobility
and flexibility required by the current and future energy market in Latin America.

Hamed Hossain has more than 15 years of power plant experience, in different departments within Siemens Energy Power and Gas Division. This includes project execution and proposals for various types of power plants (from power train up to turnkey) and latterly Hamed has been nominated as the business owner of SeaFloat Power Plants, taking the responsibility to grow business of this evolutionary solution. Hamed graduated with a diploma degree in environmental science from university of applied science in Bingen (Germany).

Stavros Zissis has more than 15 years of power plant experience, in different departments within Siemens Power and Gas Division. This includes project execution and proposals for various types of power plants (from power train up to turnkey) and latterly sales for large gas turbine applications.

Beginning of 2018 Stavros joined the SeaFloat team, taking over a leading role and responsibility to make inroads into the market and thus enhance the sales of the evolutionary Siemens Energy
SeaFloat portfolio. Stavros graduated with a diploma degree in chemical engineering from KIT Karlsruhe

University (Germany).
